Willow on the go

Miss Willow has been absolute joy lately.

We had a bit of a rough time at the beginning of March, but the poor thing was cutting three teeth at once so you can’t blame her really.

She got over the blip quickly and since then life has been busy, full of adventure and new developments. Even with a sinus and eye infection, this little girl is all smiles and laughs.

Willow has a great sense of humour and laughs often. She is so happy and it melts my heart every day! I’m convinced that she’s got so many teeth so she can smile and show them off.

She is very polite and conscientious of other people. She always waves hello and goodbye. She sits down (preferably at a table) to eat and she always asks nicely when she wants something (well, the first time at least. If you don’t give her what she wants she gets very insistent.)

The best part is she has gotten very affectionate. She will give you a cuddle if you ask for one, and a lot of the time she will give them unprompted. She also blows kisses now! This is the best thing ever.

She is also giving open mouth kisses. The first time she tried to give me a kiss I was sure what was happening because she was coming at me with a gaping mouth. It was hilarious.

At night, when we are having our last cuddle before bed, she will pat me on the back and then give me a big, sloppy open mouth kiss on the lips.

She loves the cats and enjoys petting them, she loves to dance and will do so with or without music. She loves bouncing on jumping castles and the mini trampoline. She loves bath time and playing with her pouring cups. She also finds it hilarious when her dad tickles me and I shriek – it’s her favourite so, of course, he does it all the time.

She loves walking around the house while carrying something too heavy for her or requires a lot of coordination.

She is also obsessed with bags and loves walking around with one on her arm. She has a little collection: an old H&M shopping bag, her toiletry bag and a small plastic Shoo Shoo bag.

She only wears sunglasses on top of her head like an Alice band and loves to wear shoes.

She also likes to show off her talents, jewellery, shoes or bag, and will come find you to receive compliments and praise – such a girl!
